Customer Has Blood spot......What to Tell Her???

Any readily available remedies for cleaning up spots of blood? My customer has a small spot in her carpet from an accident, and she lives miles away. What can I advise her to use?? I won't be in her area for a week of two.

Find out what fiber the carpet is first, if you can

Ask how old it is

What has she already done to it

Is it under any kind of warranty from the manufacturer.

Then proceed.

agreed, peroxide for her, tell her no Spot Shot! Is she way out in the boonies, is that why you can't get out there for a week? Sometimes I just hit those spots myself real quick, 15 minutes if I'm passing through AND its a good client.

50/50 mix of cold water and ammonia.
It will blot right out if fresh.

Rob, yeah that wouldn't be one I'd be doing for free, in fact, it would be hard to justify even coming out for the minimum (about 55 minutes for me)
