I am doing a really nice job at Victoria Secret. I was meeting with the company that is doing the rebuild and my guys were removing the bottom 2 feet of drywall in their office. The drywall dust set the alarm off. The Volunteer fire department showed up and they were not happy to be out for no reason at 4 30am. I just wanted to give everyone the heads up as this is the first time I have ever had an issue with a smoke alarm.
They gave me a paper and it says that I have 7 days to have the alarm company come out and clean the smoke alarms. Is this something that I could do? I was told it could cost $300 to $500.

I've not experienced that one. I'd be a little reluctant to do it yourself unless its error free.

You would hate to be on the hook for any future fires, especially when they have you on record.
