Roughly 70 percent of the professional restorers that I personally know, began offering mitigation and drying as an extension of their carpet cleaning service. It doesn’t surprise me in the least bit, after all that is how I got involved in the restoration industry. Though I have no hard evidence industry wide of how many make a similar transition, I’ll use it as a simple point of reference. That being the case, why not diversify into restoration services – right?
