Yet ANOTHER rug damaged by dye strippers. It's keeping my trainees busy!
Sounds like a huge money making opportunity
There's good money in it, but it's always the guy that didn't want to invest and his education that's footing the bill.
Like to see what it looks like when your done. Same prospective lighting and angle of photo, not a sales job photo.
This rug is actually being worked on by one of my trainees. He should have no problem to fix it.
We've done hundreds of these types of repairs. How many would you like to see, Ron? You can see hundreds more on our Facebook page.
I would really like to see this one.I think it can not be done well.
He should have no problem repairing this color damage. I teach our trainees how to do this in our three day dye class. This is a very simple repair.
Hope you're at the show with some samples not just pictures.
Ron, we'll be at ICE in January in booth #615
We will be demonstrating airbrushing and bleach spot repair. Anyone who would like to try their hand at airbrushing will have the opportunity to do so. We will also have airbrush units and dye kits available for purchaae.
I took Chris's course and fixed a rug at my shop when I returned home. The style of teaching Chris does allows for quick implementation.
I used to tea wash and dye lots in the early 2000's I found that washing was often more profitable and less annoying .. it's probably that im getting old and cranky
Anyway here's 2 rugs We did last week owner didn't like the white field it was more of a favor. Sorry for the shitty pics they were for the owner
I had a call yesterday from a cleaner in a Chicago suburb. He damaged a wool rug by improper cleaning. (As Chris said, I strongly suspect he had little or no training in cleaning wool rugs.) I refered him to Colorful carpets. I am sure one of Chris's students will be in the area and qualified to help.
Thanks, Tom. I've got a few people in the Chicago area that can help him.
OK- I give you a hard time when it's deserved, but this is impressive. Enjoy this complimentary moment because they're as common as the dodo bird.
Willy you are such a pussy! Please stand up and at least try to be a man!
