Ebay the "new" website address for Chemtex crap truck mounts & some fool from Florida posting soft core porn. Apparently this wacko with a informational product about carpet cleaning thinks T&A helps peddle his $89 package. I can't believe Ebay is allowing this (they must be really desperate for listings) and Rotovac & Vonstrader haven't shut down is listings which misuse trademarks & trash their products. This marketing expert should figure out how to help Chemtex sell their crappiest truck mount in the WORLD. Now that would be an accomplishment, but would probably require something a bit more hardcore to get a few Texas hillbillies to buy that box of bolts. I have never understood why so many super sucky truck mounts come from Texas.

I just purchased one of Larrys base slide in to replace my Hydramaster 470 D. I wish that I had made the purchase sooner, great unit for the money and wow so easy and simple even I can fix it if that ever happens. Jack Z.

Chemtex, EZPOS, who else?

I know Cobbs does as well but I think his machines are fine these days

I was thinking ChemTx, Ez, Steambrite, Namco, & Amtec the proud manufacturer the Prowler portable truck mount (cute idea but really horrible unit) all are in Texas and total junk. Recently I met a guy that has a ChemTex unit. They hang up on his customers service calls and have even told him " it's your fing problem." If not for having a shade tree mechanic roommate the guy would be out of business. I really felt bad for the guy as this is his first business, he started in the middle of a recession and he bought a pieces of crap truck mount. This business is tough enough without your equipment supplier jinksing your start up. Although not in Texas www.bluebaroncarpetcleaningmachines.com is another POS manufacturer.

I definitely wouldn't put Cobb's truck mount in with the Terrible Texas five. Larry cares about his customers and has a decent unit from what I hear. There is a difference between having a few problems with a new product design and having a track record of cranking out POS truck mounts for years and telling your customers to kiss off.

I want to wave the checker flag for Larry Cobb and his Dynachem units.I purchased a new White magic Pro 1700 back in the early ninetys and almost lost my account, because of the white magic. I had been in bussines for over 10 years using rotary and a portable and lots of phone call to white magic but no luck. I paid a friend to fix it and purchased a new Hydramaster 470D, Great unit when it ran, but still to many problems, and to hard to get to. The unit I have from Dynachem is smaller than my prior units but runs very well and I enjoy using it and no problems. The unit has a 20 hp kohler and found out that I have to remove my gas cap on my chevy van to balance the fuel pump to restart. Larry is a pleasure to talk to compared to my prior dealing. The large companys seem unable to listen and help you and me, because they have very smart people working for them, but we can tell them the real problems each day as we are using the units in the real world and not in a room where the run them. jack z.

I agree.

And I feel bad for that guy too. Been there, done that.

I must be blessed. All my machines have worked fine. I have never had any down time to complain about in 16 years. I did have a machine that ate hx so I just plumbed around it and bought a burner. It never stopped a job, it just blew out extra water.
