A few of our industry friends either come from Erie, or have lived there.

This is a compelling documentary, that is often darkly funny, even though I'm not sure its meant to be. You'd think the Cohen brothers wrote this:

You'd have to have met a past girlfriend of mine to really get this one.

Marjorie Diehl's borderline rants are worth watching the series for alone.

But the story line is like Fargo without the accents

You would have to watch the show.

No one with all of Mark's irrepressible cheeriness.

You might like it. For all the grief you get about a lack of sophistication...or genetic diversity... in the south, this shows just how mentally and morally degenerate people north of the Mason Dixon Line can be too.

    I remember this case.

Was crazy that anyone would think like this especially at that time.

We have a large population of very strange folks here. I still say it's lead in the water system.

    Gee thanks, Mike.

Erie is about as far from me as possible. I’m in the SE part of the stare and Erie is then NW.

Much closer to Jim....what does that tell you?!?!?

    Interesting Miniseries

    Crazy Marge was a monster

I'll take your word for Erie being a strange place but that tragedy could have happened anywhere

Of course you are right Fred. The chilling thing about this story is that intelligence isn't always synonymous with sanity..and surely humanity.

Hoarding seems to go hand in hand with their lifestyle too.

Yes, Erie is the former home (or former hang-out) of many well-known names in our industry, including me. Something about Erie that makes one want to leave and start cleaning.

    Prop 65 Coffee Warning.jpeg

Speaking of California. It is a strange place when you see this warning as you enter a Starbucks. I wonder if it will need to be placed by every coffee pot in all business locations. Who knows, they may force you to display it in your house. It is sad that the great state of California will be subject to such deserved ridicule. Hopefully there will be a move toward sanity and away from insanity.

I resemble that. I lived in Erie for a year.
