Yes Saiger does dry strokes and so do I when I use it.. I have a smaller machine though.. I'd guess it depends on how big of a place your doing and if they have good airflow available to not do a dry pass... The OG Zipper I've used 350-400 psi and real long strokes, you can get away without dry stroking it...

The Zipper SS is normally ran at 900 psi. It has four 8001 jets.

I always dry stroke because of the higher psi.
