blotted with Chemspec One Earth 210 and Procyon and a white towel placed on top.

Cold water.

if those two cause the red to run that's all I need to know.

Compound and spot clean the obvious by hand

So you wouldn't test with last step???

Or an acid side cleaner?

Two 10 ph wool safe cleaners that self nutralize only?

Doesn't Vlm or compound cleaning require a wetting before crbing?

Did you test your magic wand neutral cleaner too?

Hey Mike- We have a catch tray with a vac nozzle on it available that would be a good thing to use on this rug. Basically you wear a backpack vac and hook up to the rear catch tray and power the vac off the back of the machine. At that point you are pulling negative air through the machine as well as using the brushing action to remove solids from the rug. This will perform better than any civilian beater bar vacuum or pile lifter known to exist. It would be a great last step once all the compound has dried and you want to get any remaining particles.

btw- You will need one 20lb pail per 1500 sf of carpet to be cleaned, assuming avg soiling. How many sf did you say existed?

Sure - it's not a 2" though- you will need a whip line for it.

That's total BS! What's the ph of UP extreme? Red wool antique rug and a prespray like UP extreme...I highly doubt it.

I bet you tried the dry method and they kicked you out because they thought you were scrubbing in sawdust.
