grout boost

Anyone have any experience with this product? I saw it at Lowes. It is available for both sanded and unsanded grout. It is used in replacement of water when mixing up your grout. Its not cheap stuff. Claims to make grout stain proof. Talked with a tile installer and he said it was garbage. Only criticism I found on Lowes site were complaints that it lightened the grout several shades... This might be due to customers not properly mixing the product with the correct amount of grout but the bottle clearly states what size pound bag it is to be used for...ie. 10 lb or 25 lb bag of grout. Seems idiot proof but... you know.

Was thinking how this product might impact future grout cleaning and color sealing work in the future. Seems manufacturers are doing their darndest to make it harder for cleaners to earn a living! LOL
