Well, it's funny you ask me that. Because I'm really missing having a bike. There are just so many nice bikes to choose from, so I decided, after I fix my boat, and build my remote control lawnmower, I'm going to start collecting motorcycles. If I can't decide on one, I'll just get them all :) I'm going to Red Bluff to check out a Yamaha SCR950 in the morning. It's possible I may return home with one. I'm going to have to hide it in the shed from my wife. She is just not enlightened enough to understand and I don't think she would believe me if I told her I traded an old air compressor for it. I already used that excuse on a few other things.

Make sure you can pack 3 days of underwear and some flip flops on it.

Can it pass a car going 80 without shifting?

Will your ass tolerate the seat for 10 hours?

Will you scrape hard parts on 36?

    You know the rest..

For the first time in a few weeks it looks like I may have a couple of consecutive days off. Let the engine pulling out begin! Who wants to come over for free pizza? @TConway , @see spots run?

Sometimes, Damon, a few days off work is good medicine. Good luck.

I did a job for a high performance marine centre the other day. The boat I was working on was 28’, and the guy told me the owner just dumped 60k into the motor. He’s also working on a 39’, and the guy said it will do 175 MPH on the water.... I’m happy with my boat... it’s a 2014 Bowrider Bayliner. I can take myself, and 7 other adults onto the water. It does 50MPH, and will pull 2 people up on skis.... why do I need more?

I really hate all of you.

And herself won’t let me get a little cabin cruiser, no: It has to be another pontoon. Maybe this time I really will mount an Airstream on it for camping down the river.

Well guys, and Meg, I’m worn out. I just got done pulling that bad engine out. It’s 10pm. In typical Damon fashion, it was an adventure. Nothing went to plan and it took brute force to get it out. I didn't take many pictures of the process because I just wanted to get it done. The followig pics may tell a bit of the story. Once again, I wish Mike Draper was my neighbor

Anyone ever notice that Damon has a speed key for “It took brute force to...”

Made a little more progress today. Just need to do about 6 more things then I can make the big lift into the boat. Still need to move over the balancer, timing chain cover, water pump, oil pump, and oil pan. If i can get one solid day to myself I can make the push.
