I have a fairly large church sanctuary job coming up and they have a light grape stain about 1 X 2 ft where a bunch of communion grape juice spilled.

I did a search and it appears Fels and peroxide should do the trick. Any thoughts or will this do it. Should this be treated before normal cleaning or afterwards?

Thanks in advance,
Bill

I usually rinse and speed dry these type of spots before applying anything.

Do they have some of their regular choice of juice in the fridge? Is it possible for you to read the label for ingredients? Most grape juice isn't so much organic as it is synthetic.

Read ICS article on wine stains.

Then don't do that.

Seriously: Chances are that it cleans right out, or will just need a hit of a tannin spotter or synthetic dye remover.

If its olefin, beware of wicking.

chemspecs coffee stain remover will do it coffee and grape juice are both vegtible stains and sodium metibisulfite should remove it. Chemspecs browning treatment is the same thing.
