For the past 15 or so years I've been traveling to disaster areas working as a supervisor / project manager and have made a good living doing it, 2016 was the first year I focused on staying home and building our business and has been the best year we've had in a long time. ..

Pretty good and achieved some goals/growth, still as always want more growth.

Got my roofing company back on track, and this new year will focus on getting car sales back up for my small lot.

All in all very satisfied with the progress as it was not "just" another year but a good year.

Most of all I still like doing what I do most days and I think that and being able to provide for my family with both time and the money needed/wanted is what is most important to me in my working career.

Enjoyed 2016 very much. Our children, our grandchildren, our many friends...great times.

The cleaning business has made us a good life and living, and I usually enjoy my work and the challenges it offers.

    It was great.

Solid team, continued growth, lots of referral and repeat, added new services. Restructured the company (s corp) and made more $ than 2015 and paid $20k less in taxes.

Lots of travel, great time with kids.

And looking forward to an even better 2017.

We've stayed the course this year, again.

I love what I do most days and have far more time with my family than I can remember my dad having.

I'm considering a 2 acre plot of land in my town for 2017. That would be a leap as it has to be developed within 12 months of purchase.

It scares me as much as ever to step out of my comfort zone. I turned 40 this year and I'm looking at my future a little more seriously than I have in the past.

We continue to establish ourselves in our area, as the BEST residential cleaning company in central Iowa. I didn't always believe that but I do now. We are doing a lot of things well but the challenge will be to multiply slowly, in a way that I can manage.

I wish you all the very best in 2017!!

Real good. Went from 1 full time truck to two, the transition hasn't been without it's headaches. Bought two new rigs since last December. Closing on a 6,000 square foot shop next week so I've gotten really good at getting into debt! Next year should be exciting.

I had the biggest growth in income, yet the most expensive year to date also.

A buch of breakdown time with my truck (over $3k), I remodeled my bathroom ($5k), legally adopted my nephew ($3k), purchased some carpet cleaning toys ($3500) and bought an overpriced iPhone without contract renewal ($too embarrassed to say$).

Maybe this year will be profitable. My ass aint spending no money on anything but pre sprays, lol.

I didn't have all those things happen at once. Every expense I listed emptied my wallet. It would be a Truly Sad if I burdened myself financially by purchasing a van right after one of those expenses and still have a lemon Ford diesel emptying my wallet.

My goal this year is to have very little to zero downtime cost, no need to buy any tools this year, unless I keep seeing you guys and your toys.
