Don't do them, but the more I look into stone cleaning, color sealing and stuff like this, the more I would like to do more jobs without having the TM running all day.
I just don't want to look like or be considered a "cleaning lady".

You'll be as much of a cleaning lady as you are a janitor for cleaning tile and carpet. It's good work and it pays because nobody else wants to do it.

Mask off the wall and tub. Makes it easy and the finished look is stupendous.

When you remove the tap you'll have a slight hard edge to the silicone. Take a wet finger and do one long continuous wipe to smooth the edge.

Nice clean but boring shower stalls...

This one got the perimeter edge re-grouted/layered. We use Concrete Fortifier (glue) instead of water and unsanded grout when doing these sort of repairs.

THIS is an exciting shower stall we were at earlier this week..

Notice the top edge of the glass walls.

I recaulked my bathroom and used one of those rubber tools that squeegees the caulk. It worked pretty good. Have u ever used one of them? Do you color seal the showers? I can't tell from the pics.

No color seal showers that sees daily use.

I like my fingers better than those rubber gadgets, I have ten sizes to choose from.

for two shower stalls @ $1100 Ill wear a maid outfit.

You mean as in French maids outfit with the patten leather heels ?
You know we could turn this into one hell of a fund raiser at the next Mikeys fest and raise a hell of a lot more than $1100.

Waldo might even have to come out with a new list. The top 25 maid want to be / flakes in our industry list.

Hey Mike,
What are you using to scrub this stuff? Pads? Steel wool?

I don't do them any more. People think you should do it for a extra $70. When I tell them it will be at least $200 or more they call merry maids.

Do you ever encounter mold on the grout in travertine showers? I just got a call for one. What do you use for the mold without damaging the travertine?
