Innocent enough looking but....a city water main broke shooting a stream of water over the road and into this homeowners back yard. So much water that it saturated the the ground and filled up their window well eventually flooding the basement.

You just never know where the water will come from, in this case across the road. :eekk:

How on earth did it run that long? Folks just drove by and didn't call the city? Wow....

Nice quite neighborhood, plus it took some time for them to get it shut off.

We had one several years ago that broke in the homeowners front yard and did the same thing (flooded the basement) but it sprayed directly at the house. The homeowners thought it stormed all night and didn't realize until they headed out to work that it only rained on them.:eekk:

So how did you guys break or rupture that main?

All of this weired water work you are getting can't be natural, can it?

I thought only good things happen to good people?

The restoration business is a roller coaster.

We've been up for several months but winter is coming so we have to prepare for a possible ride back down.
This month has already surpassed last September's sales with 11-more days to go. But last year the whole quarter fell apart, something we have to prevent from happening this year.
