She won't fess up but the elders must be telling the flock to prepare for the worse.

She's been collecting all sorts of zombie rations, clothes, flashlights... Everything but ammo.

Tornados, earthquakes, power outages, floods, etc. Everyone should be prepared to some extent so they can avoid being a victim when a natural disaster strikes. No secrets there....

So this has been a Sunday topic?

I'm all for it, just find it a bit odd that one has to prepare to enter paradise loaded with jerky and water purification straws..

Makes no sense, at some point you're going to run out. Just buy guns and amo and you'll NEVER run out of supplies. :icon_twisted:

They're probably reading the posts from Anonymous on Facebook. Supposedly, WW3 is about to happen. I guess all the other wars weren't big enough for Armageddon.

Sorry for the sarcasm. I just think these church (yes, a "kingdom hall" is a church) leaders should be more accurate in their last days advice.

Or were they just giving some life saving preparation for the cold winters coming our way? That is an accurate forecast.

No matter what your beliefs are, you should have a disaster kit available to you. Especially those of you in earthquake or tornado zones. Usually recommended to have supplies for 3 days but better to enough to last a week at least. Food, water, portable radio, flashlights, extra batteries, first aid kit, etc. I have one at home, one at the shop and one in the wifes Blazer. We also have tons of camping gear, cook tops, knives, propane. Not expecting a disaster, buy if one comes along at least we are prepared.

I have a plan...I plan to stack the bodies at the perimeter of my property.

Not as a warning but as a demonstration. lol

    Military training...

I live close to a couple nuke plants. Gennys son works at one. The other is closing due to a lot of issues there. This is probably the most likely scenario for me to be concerned about.

Either way I'm heading away from society and people as fast as possible if it ever comes to it.

Doesn't help if your neighbor has more and bigger guns. I have an ex brother in law in Colorado who has a .50 cal heavy machine gun on a tripod as well as all the usual rifles/shotguns/handguns.

Yep, people will be murdering each other in no time. Best to go where the numbers are low. Staying put and bunkering down makes you a target. Gotta keep moving.

Ammo will run out. Supplies will to.

Gotta know how to survive off the land. A good knife will be more useful than guns in a short time.
