Have you ever tried reaching out to FAM's and PM's via LinkedIn? I spend about 2 months bugging the crap out of about 30 contacts. I ended up getting 2 large jobs, and am still going back and forth with the largest employer in my city. They have very high insurance requirements, so we are currently negotiating. Lets see what happens!

From sitting at my computer wondering how else I can reach out to people. Facebook, LinkedIn, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Clubs, etc.

Actually many people teach working Linkedin. Sales Octane class puts a lot of emphasis on LinkedIn.

Shane, I'm sure you have lots of great ideas, but other people have ideas too. Just because they may overlap, doesn't mean I'm trying to "steal" your ideas. This board is about sharing success stories and helping others. I'm here to share my experiences with hopes that they help others succeed. As well as build my business and support cleaners with products to fit their needs. I'm sorry you have so much hate. Please don't bring the drama here, that's not what I'm here for.

Aren't people supposed to take knowledge from others on the board and use it to grow their own business. Am I missing something?

BTW: I used LinkedIn a year ago and did what you did, attempting to contact Property Managers, adding realtors as connections. Was kind of a waste of time. Maybe if you spend money on an ad campaign that sends property managers in your area an ad message via their inbox might work. I worked for a software company that did this, but no huge response to the ads.

A sales training class taught by Jim Ryerson sp?

You take the EHarmony type personality test and then he delves into the different types of personalities there are and how you adjust you sales approach to each personality.

    Great class

I suppose he could have mentioned Shane.

lynda.com has a multitude of training videos on various subjects. Really cool, it remembers where you left off and restarts there for you. Check it out!
