Need help locating and help filling my blower lube levels (part of my checklist).

I have a 2004 apex. Not sure where to fill and drain...

Take your sight glasses off and clean them up while your at it..

Post a picture of the lobes of your blower..

To take the blows out would it be diffuclt? Undue bolts from the the black casing and then disconnect from a coupler???

That thing is HEAVY!! There are 4 bolts under it also 9/16 I believe.. I rigged up a winch to pick mine up..

I think I popped something taking those caps off...and of course the busted knuckle.

I bought 2 qaurts. How much does it take? Pasenger side took 3/4 of a quart and sight glass on drivers side is fxcked up and I can't see when is enough. Don't want too over fill

It's probably about the same on both sides.. Fill it slow and make sure you are on level ground. Clean the sight glasses with a good degreaser and Qtips if you have to.. You NEED to watch the sight glasses to know how full it is.

If you over fill it, use a turkey baster and some hose to suck out the extra..

damn me....definitely was not on level ground. And my one sight glass is cracked so I can't see shxt...

Will order new sight glass from DG distributor.
Another question, when I am not under a load my vac shows 3-4 hg... any idea why?

Well... As long as you have the good sight glass side right, park it on a hill and change the sides of the "good" sight glass.. :biggrin:

By "any load" do you mean without any vacuum hoses attached?

my sight glass is also messed up, took it out tried to clean it, nothing , where is a good place to order one
