Couple of quick questions on the Monkey Pads. I used them on several jobs but all the jobs I've done have had some light etching so I had to take them down with the 800 grit and bring them back up to 8000 or 11000 grit shine. Very time consuming but the customers were all very pleased.
I'm get some calls where i will be doing estimates where there is no damage and they just want a clean, polish and seal.
My question is has anyone just polished with an 8000 or 11000 grit and how did it turn out?
2nd question has anyone ever gone for a honed look by using the 800 grit and then going right to a 8000 or 11000?
