moving locations, SEO issues etc?

We bought some land about 6 miles north of Seattle and are getting ready to put up our building but I decided we might as well move the listed business location to there now.

I was wondering what downfalls anyone has had doing a location move SEO wise or with yelp etc.
I know @Mikey P moved his shop recently, did it reset your SEO at all or was there any issues?

I think It did with mine-- or maybe it was just the company I hired.
I suggest you monitor your web presence after the change.

ok thanks, talked more with my seo company and they said it may slow for a few weeks due to some lingo I dont quite understand but anyways 2 weeks isnt really a concern.

I was more worried about a big reset because weve been at the previous location for 9yrs

really the only time I would worry is if I was moving out of what google considers the "area" and losing that weight in the map pack
