Has anyone experienced the My Tee Dry Upholstery tool scraping when you pull back? We got a replacement unit from them and it does the same thing. I really like it otherwise but this for me is a deal killer.

I had my sapphire tool do that when a bit of the plastic popped up from scraping something. Silk of course.
Probably a tack strip from using it on stairs.

So Mytee doesn't fix the problem? They plug it? Isn't that odd?

I've changed out the gasket, but can't seem to get the plugs back into proper location. I'm going to try it with out the plugs.

Way to bad that these things are not ironed out with some type of employed field testing. Wonder What is your opinion?

All tools have weaknesses and strengths, tread lightly and heed warnings but don't just abandone the tool or method because 5 people say it is bad as it might just work well for you.

I've got one and think it's a very good tool, a big step up from externally jetted tools. The "plugs" are to be used for piping, the tool works best with the plugs out.

So you need to pull the hard apart to insert the pugs when you want to clean piping?

I used a DM2 today on Velvet...

I need more water than these continuous flow tools put out.
