Got it John, but Olson was not the only word I misspelled. Try spelling my last name without looking. Not so easy, huh?

Hi Steven Hoodlebrink,

This board is worthy of support. With out it we manufacturers would not be able to hear first hand what the Professionals need and want. We would also not know what and many times HOW to fix problems and make our products better.

Thank you Mikey for the WORLDS GREATEST CARPET CLEANING FORUM.

Hi Steve Fraiser,

$399.00

Battery is guaranteed for a year.

If you Don't like it return it to your Dist.

Mytee stands 100% behind our products

Sincerely,

Hi Steve Frasier,

Sorry about misspelling your name on my previous post. Also, I was told that I may have misunderstood your question on the battery life, so I will try again.

The battery is sealed lead-acid. It's basically a 10 ah motorcycle battery. We have a 3 ah on-board intelligent charger that will work on 100 vac (Japan) to 240vac (Australia) and anywhere in between.(just change the power cord to the proper electric outlet) You can spray down the job and plug it in while you're cleaning and keep it totally charged all the time, with this charger the battery cannot be overcharged so it should give long battery life. The battery's large capacity can also be seen in that you can spray up to 60 gallons (12 fill-ups) and still retain 70% of the charge, even though it should be recharged at this point. (for ultimate battery life)

We use a 12 volt Shur-flo pump and we mold the housings in house with our roto-molding equipment.

Mikey said he uses it everyday and charges his once a week.

I hope I got it right this time.

I don't have a price list in front of me but my guess would be about $50.00 each. The pump seals and valves are viton.

After some help from Bruce Humphrey, I finally figured out how to post these at full size. I thought I would put them back up here, so you guys can see what we are doing here.

Thanks Bruce!

Hi Mikey,

I heard you got your replacement sprayer? How were the changes?
I think John Olson got his too, haven't heard from him either. You guys are probably busy but I like to get your feedback. Anyone else who has the old design should contact Mytee customer service and we will replace it at no charge except inbound freight.

Thanks,

Yes John I got them this week. I just got off the phone with Brian and Brett thanking them. You and Nathan are in a meeting right? I left a message for Nathan to call me.

You can call if you like :)

After fixing a loose battery wire and a stripped hose clamp it is working like a charm.

Assuming that the pump, battery and plastic tid bits last at least a year I will be giving it the MB SOA.

Design Idea

If Mytee(John) was to re-design the sprayer what would you guys like to see. I was talking to him about being able to switch chemicals. I suggested something like the Omni-Pro or Multi Sprayer and he came up with a Split tank (2) 2.5 gallons with a 3 way switch to change chemicals on the fly.

What do you guys think?

The split tank idea does have merit.

Or a way to use the standard 5 gallon solution jug would be nice.

One other thing, a quick disconnect at the machine on the coil hose so it could be replaced and/or extended with a longer hose for commercial use. It is always nice to leave the machine in one spot as much as possible.

See through tank.

See through lid is not enough to accurately monitor usage easily.

or at least a sight tube.

How about a 100 psi pump upgrade, very useful on longer hose on commercial work.

Thanks for the comments. What if the tank was natural color so you could see the water level? A 100 psi Shur-flo pump is doable.

Thanks

Natural is fine.

Get rid of those 4 hooks too.

One bigger one to hold the cord off the ground would be nice. As it is, the cord gets tangled under the wheels too much.

So John, just how valuable has this experiment been for you? Will you be using the Boards for R & D more now?

Yeah I don't see the need for 100PSI. Mikey, how long does it take you to spray out the entire 5 gallons?
