Need help

Picked up a silk area rug today that a previous cleaner had cleaned another silk rug on top of it. The leather runners underneath the carpet on top bled and left red dye marks on the silk rug that was underneath...about 4 ft. in length and quarter inch wide. What's the best way to try to remove this.

If you have no experience with that type of situation why would you try to fix someone else's problem?

I recommend getting it to a good rug shop where they will be comfortable saying they can or can't do it.

I was told by customer I could try to fix it. Looking to use it as a guinea pig. Not trying to be a hero..but would like to see if I can correct it.
