water....

after you have squeeged and sucked it all up...go back and reflood the area with water....and pretend your stripping again...

it neutralizes
it reactivates any dried stripper,
and dilutes the crap out of it

and its kinda like that final mop...

because you do mop after you have sucked that up to....

Greetings thanks for all the help and the tips.

Lee
1st white vinegar? What would be the ratio mix in water? Thanks

Doug
2ND So I just mop the floor a few times with just clear water? Thanks

I found “ Easy Paks” Neutralizer Conditioner/Odor Counteractant Neutralizes alkaline residue after floor stripping and cleaning.

Has anyone use this before.

Thanks for all the comments and help

Doug sorry I miss read your post.

You put down the clear water as you would the stripper and then pick it up with the wet vac or I would Mop it.

Thanks.

Our preference, if we are using traditional stripper, is to apply it with the hydroforce 10:1

For the rinse we cut the white vinegar in half and apply it with the hydroforce 10:1

If we are using the newer "non-stripper" system we replace stripper with 1 cup mild detergent in a 10:1 hydroforce.

To rinse this we use plain water as needed using the hydroforce simply as a delivery device.

We have very little need for mops and buckets any more.

I agree, we flood the floor twice and mop till water comes out clear. Always easier with an automatic scrubber of some kind.

We use this this aquaclean with the optional hard surface kit , it is only 80 pounds and easy to get in and out of the truck. It also rinses the floor well and limits the number of times we have to mop.

Again I agree if you flush the floor as you are supposed to there is no need for an acid or neutralizing of any kind. If on your,Final mop, the water is clear, floor is ready for finish.

If the floor is heavily damaged by office chairs rolling around or something repeatedly scratching the floor I will seal in the areas with a floor sealer other than than no sealer is needed as most finishes available today are self sealing by design.

I neutralized floors back when Stockwell was middle aged.

I haven't done so in, at least, 15 years.

At times like this ... read the directions.

All good product andy, just spend the lousy $4 on some rinse away or neutral cleaner and avoid smelling like a douche {vinegar} for your rinse.

Also some common sense advice is to keep flipping your pads or replacing as they load up with old finish, the $5 is not worth it.
Also with waxing put a blower at a 45 degree angle and make sure some kind of air is on in the building.

Baseboard stripper comes in aerosol cans for like $4 and will make corners/edges a breeze with a scraper.

One more thing, do not start waxing on edges as nobody walks on them, use very little finish on edges.

Greetings Shane Thanks for all the GREAT ADVISE, That will help me a lot.
I did buy a neutral cleaner.
I also purchased a deformer so the wet vac won’t get full with foam.

I will by the aerosol baseboard stripper tomorrow. Thanks
