One time I did get an award and on the way out I threw it in the trash.

Just like all of those bowling trophys of my dad when he died.
Cleaned out his house and in the trash they went.

Make sure and fill out the nominations form and send it in. List all of the outside charity work your nomination performs. This is a Humanitarian award and the votes are cast based on what the person does with no thought to reward or compensation. It isn't a popularity contest and voting on mikeysboard doesn't count There are so many deserving people that never get nominated to be voted on and many that unless you know them personally you would never know what all they do in their communities. So id you are nominating Mark interview him and learn what he does that would earn him the Humanitarian award or heck even Jimmy. I am sure he does something nice when no one is looking

Well....I may have missed the video (I don't watch them) but what exactly makes Saiger a humanitarian?

Not saying he shouldn't be nominated just wondering other than helping carpet cleaners why he would receive the award. Yeah he is a nice guy, generous with his time and knowledge, and generally positive but I don't know that I would classify him as a humanitarian. Is he doing a bunch of charity/volunteer work?




Edit: You Saigerites don't need to send me letterbombs or anything .....I'm not hating on the guy.

There are so many deserving people that never get nominated to be voted on and many that unless you know them personally you would never know what all they do in their communities.

That's what's difficult about this award; most of the greatest humanitarians do so very privately. We didn't know half of the things Ken Snow did until he passed.

I don't doubt many of you (John Olson included, by the way) do a lot for your fellow man, and say little about it. I have the feeling Mark Saiger also fits that category.

OMG..whos crying and telling you that...no one is tossing any type of fit....and I am far from deserving for any type of award like that...
All I said was a humanitarian award is more for things Like Harper and of Olson does...not a cleaner who sells pre spray...

I've supported the ex- cimex chimps down at www.chimphaven.org for years.
While I would accept the award I would quickly burn it out back by the outhouse.
Awards are worthless.
