Went out to a job to extract on Monday. Bi-level house, up ceiling, carpet, and walls wet. Down...ceiling, walls, and carpet wet. Seems a water main out in the street had ruptured 50 foot away, sending a stream of water toward the house, breaking the front windows, and blowing off a 10X10 foot section of roofing. Of course, water ran into the house from the roof, causing most of the damage. I was just there to extract, and the resto company will finish up the drying and repair work.
But what a weird incedent.....
