I would be filing an insurance claim after my dumb ass tried to use floor stripper to remove the wax. I didn't know it was a tile that was saltillo.

So I'm watching this thread to see what the right way to do it is. Thanks Mikey

By any chance is that a dye job?

I can't tell if the glaze has broken down or the color is coming off.

So what are you doing with it?

No. He had applied some sort of sealant over soiling, whenever. Well, somebody had. I know because he gave the elves a partially-used gallon!

We used stripper and superheated steam, as well as a CRB. Eventually it all evened out and looked dandy.

What did you guys charge for that?
I can put about 500 sf of tile in for $3500 - $3800 dollars.

If money wasn't a factor, and your customer wanted it done, what would you charge and give us step by step and what it should look like at the end.

You real;y need to test, for results

Some pain sometimes not

Do you see the dimples created from the no-move rug pad?

That there tells us that this project is a two day event.

100 square feet for $4000 and they still have the same ugly ass tile, only shiny and new?

who in their right mind?
