Just had a restoration contractor tell me they could only pay 1.50 sf. And don't want to pay our pick up and delivery fees.
They said it was the TPA that put a number on it.
Is there a work around for getting TPA's to pay a normal price?

What are they only willing to pay 1.50 a square foot for? Rug cleaning? (I'm guessing since you noted pick up and delivery fees)

That is for too little for rug cleaning, let alone water/smoke damaged rugs

Yes.
In your contract you state that the customer is responsible for the fully payment of your services regardless of what the Insurance or TPA ends up paying.
Also included that the customer pays all legal costs incurred in collecting all the funds due. inform them of the risk of Leins on the property and possible foreclosure on the property if needed.

Or just ask if they can include KY jelly with the $1.50 sq ft payment to ease the pain of being screwed.😈😆🤣
