My box truck is going to be left out side during the winter. I think I would be better off using a propane heater so I don t have to run electrical cords to my garage. My box truck is separate from the cab. I already have the tank for the propane mounted under the truck. Any suggestions?

Electric does not work if you are "on the road" and need to keep the cube warm.

Here is a link to a company we used to use.

http://www.rvcomfort.com/suburban/produ ... rnaces.php

It is for a Suburban furnace, the same ones that are used in RV's. They do work well especially if you get one that allows you to run heat ducts. You do need to vent them out the side of the truck but on a box, it is not an issue.

It is a 12V system and you will need to either have an auxilliary deep cell battery installed with some sort of isolator. Talk to your local RV dealer and tell them what you want to do. It has been many years since we have done this but it can be done.

Good luck..
