If only Duane was able to shine his light on us for that many years.

Anyone else get the feeling that they are outliving their youth?

My sister let me listen to her records when I started playing guitar in the early 70's.

The Allman Brothers Live at The Fillmore East changed my world....

Duane Allman, Berry Oakley, then recently Butch Trucks, and now Greg...

As much as I liked Melissa, Rambling Man, and Midnight Rider....the best songs were Dreams, Whipping Post, Statesboro Blues, and In Memory of Elizabeth Reed....playing them all today.

Duane's re-entry at 6.25 minutes of Whipping post, and where he takes it blows my fooking mind every time.

Nothing can compare with live albums of such a caliber.

I've been starting the last few weeks. Willy's tale is a caution to us all. Going easier on the meat, no more midday burgers, been going for healthier choices and I have lost 7 pounds in the last 2 weeks. Who know vegetables could taste so good.

Take a package of frozen mixed veggies in your lunch bag. Eat it for a good, juicy and cool lunch.

Cheap, nutritious and tasty. Bit of salt helps.

I can picture you eating your frozen spinach.
