I would put my money on a Rotovac 360. On trashed carpets.

Put an inline filter on a wand and one on the 360, then compare. The proof will be in the filter DallasDikJaw

Blasting the fibers from every possible direction with hundreds of high flow passes is impossible to duplicate with a wand. My RV360 kills my GTI

prepped carpet, ie prevacuumed and presprayed and groomed or just straight wand or Roto.
Prepped: Wand
Unprepped, Roto might tweak ahead.

Ron you just proved the point. With no prep the rotovac 360 will out clean a wand. So if you preped for both meathod the 360 would still out clean the wand!

Prepped or un prepped...it doesn't matter.As Fast Eddie stated;hook up an inline filter and see for yourself.I haven't "dual system" cleaned a single carpet since picking up a 360 a couple of months ago(thank you Jeff C.,again!) and we use nothing but neutral ph/natural product line and still slay'em.

BTW Fast Eddie....did you hear that Van Halen is gearing up for a fall tour?

Now, I said it "might", only because of the rotary action. But if you know how to use a wand, and the high flow and say a slotted glide, the wand may outclean the RDM because it will flush deeper.

The thing with the RDM is that its powered so it would take less physical work.

Also, a RDM vs an RX20? Hands down: RX20!

Assuming an experienced technician is using the machine!
The SOA seems to neglect this point.
