Have a separate pair of Nike shoes for inside the home specifically for higher end homes. Gotta be honest and say, for the most part I do not change my shoes if the home is not occupied move out etc. I will put them on if the home is in good standings and the home owner is inside.

When I did (many white house administrations ago) they stayed white the entire length of the first walk from the house to the van.
