S&G mixes better (cause you don't have to mix so much)
PM smells great

the thimble full pr gal RTU of S&G in unrealistic imHo
The mega dose larry suggests is more than is needed

so I've been mixing S&G at 2oz pr gal and Cobby's at 4.5 oz pr gal
that makes them "dollar for dollar" RTU mix

it's a draw .
neither out preformed the other at those rates on moderate soil conditions .
They were both very good

Your "equal cleaning" mixing ratio is 4.5oz./2oz = 2.25

The cost figures I've seen published, indicate higher cost of 256%.

That would indicate 14% more cost-effectiveness for the PowerMax.

We also think the "customer acceptance" of our new fragrance is important.

The only flaw in that, is S & G works great at 0 .5 to 1 once per gallon. I am using them both, and love them both, hard for me to pick a favorite. I love how pwermax eliminates almost all spotting, and I love how S n G melts greasy traffic lanes like butter.

The one scoop per gallon suggested dilution rate for Slop and Gobble is unrealistic. It might work for a slightly soiled situation, but who uses a nuclear pH prespray on a lightly soiled carpet? At 2 oz's (or scoops) per gallon, it is a fine prespray. I have not, however, had an opportunity to test it on a greasy restaurant yet, and hope I don't for quite some time.

Which scoop you talkin bout??

The small scoop that comes with SG is 1 tablespoon (half ounce) I believe, so 2 of those scoops is only 1 ounce, not 2 ounces, and 1 ounce is the higher recommendation from Les.
Maybe 1 scoop (.5 oz) may be unrealistic for trashed, but I have been working through a tub, and not going over 1oz per gallon and it has kicked ass so far.
Still well below most other products and mixes REALLY easy.

I think most that have used both will agree that they are both great products, but I am mainly interested in the lower dilution of SG.
I am not sure cranking both up that high is going to help the test or not.
Mix any sledgehammer that strong and anything will come clean, I think it's using less that let's you see the difference.

I get incredible results each and every day at one ounce per gallon of SnG.

Toss in some Oxy Clean if you really want to see the shit hit the Dripod

I use Oxyclean on tile and grout, so I keep it on the van. I have added it to my prespray before and saw absolutely no additional cleaning power from it.

I'm think I either have an exceptionally wonderful prespray that can't be improved upon, or adding the Oxyclean is another "buy a Vortex" bulletin board fad.
