What would be the best way to clean 3500 sq ft of Slate tile flooring?

What kind of sealer would you use after cleaning?

You can clean it with alkaline or acid or both, start with alkaline cleaner,if you need more umph,go with a restorer,as far as sealers go,I would just use a good impregnator.

A gls/crb machine kicks ass on scrubbing slate.

Keep your Turbo at 500psi or you'll blast rings into it.

Airpath or blow it dry over night then seal.

Ff the slate has color use a solvent based enhancer to give it the wet look with out the shine.

If the slate is coated with polyurethane how would you remove it?

175/stripper/brush ?

They just want some sealer put back on it.

Whats a good price per sq ft?

Larry, slate is so porous I dont know how long it will take to get all that out,so I would say do a test area w/stripper and see how difficult it will be to remove and then price it from there.75-1.50 to clean .50-to 1.00 to seal.
(per sq ft)
