Fire closes major highway in Los Angeles

Authorities say firefighters have mostly extinguished a large blaze that burned trailers, cars and other things in storage lots beneath a major highway near downtown Los Angeles, forcing the temporary closure of the roadway.

well that seems incredibly stupid....but I suppose if they weren't there homeless people would be and they have caused a few bridge fires here

not just "storage", but "wooden pallet" storage by the kabillions

makes great hoopie houses for the derelicts that shelter there.
as well as firewood to keep warm in the 49 degree lows at night.
which is my WAG how it started .
a fire that got out of control and not intentional arson
