Perhaps some dissolve slowly for reasons of time needed to work on certain stains and odors but I like one that does both dissolve fast and effective at the same time. Unless I have all the time in the world on some jobs.

chemspec enigizer I like a lot. Dissolves slightly slow.

Pros Choice is a really good oxidizer with a nice fragrance but dissolves really slow

BioKleen is a good oxidizer and dissolves super fast. I like to use this one a lot.

OSR house brand by Magic Wand another oxidizer I like but dissolves slow.

Have not tried Cobbs oxidizer. Maybe some of you can chime in on it.

Not experienced with other brands but maybe you can chime in on your favorite and why.

Yeah, some dissolve faster than others, but the real issue is the cheap ones leave chalky footprints behind on the carpet after it dries.

I'm talking about when they are used in a regular pre-spray as an oxygen booster. Happened to me 2 or 3 times before I realized what was going on.

Multiphase is a deo. I use liquid peroxide it's on the acid side so I have more uses for it like urine stains.

The reason some of the Oxidizers dissolve slowly is because they are premium products.

They are designed to resist moisture until they are dissolved in water.

Less expensive products will lose a significant portion of their oxidizing ability upon storage with humidity.

Mikey;
This is why "laundry products" invalidate carpet manufacturers warranties,
as most carpet inspectors are quick to point out. First listed Oxiclean Stain Remover msds :
OxiClean.jpg
1. Maximum 40% percarbonate
2. Tinopol CBS - optical brightener
3. titanium dioxide - white pigment
4. Sodium Carbonate - leaves grey residue (AATCC testing)
5. Only 60% active ingredients, so 40% more residue on fibers

Oh yes, we have to be so cautious with carpet inspectors on the scene

After all we know how well manufacturers stand behind their products anyways, has anyone ever read an inspection report that didn't invalidate the warranty?

Boost All is the best I've ever used.

At least double the price of anything else, but I'm assuming there is a reason since it dissolves completely right away and no residue ever.

To be honest, Oxiclean gives better results, but I'm assuming that's due to some of the unsavory "bonus" ingredients.
