I am using switched reluctance brushless vac motors rated at 1500 hrs.

They sustain the lift over distance which gives them a leg-up on a lot of the other electro vac motors. Recovery tanks are small which gives an almost instant rise time.

I would say the components would be around $8000 plus, depending on options.

I am available for anyone to come here and see for themselves that what I say is true.

    Just give me a heads-up.

Better to power off a hybrid vehicles electric gen set while running than a secondary battery bank needing recharging at intervals.

Full-power, all the time would be necessary.

In theory, all you would have to do is integrate a strong enough 120v inverter and keep the engine running like a direct-drive.

Unfortunately it would probably wreak havoc on any major manufacturers delicate computer control system. and void the sh!t out of the warranty.

A system like that would have to

It would have to be a commercial hybrid vehicle with secondary 10.000 watt service, and be a direct offering from the manufacturer.

Can't see a huge demand for it yet, but imagine it's where things are eventually headed.

I think Larry and Mytee had a hand in the joint-formulation of en ETM "concept" vehicle using a Ford transit platform.

    Can't remember the details.
