Bill Sr. and I found common ground with some of the CRI SOA issues in his later years, and I am grateful that we were able to exchange several messages about industry topics and became as good friends as competitors can be before he passed.

You're absolutely right Lee... close second was Yeadon in that organization

Everybody else was a stiff that followed the code of deception

Bill Y was "just an employee", and I'm sure he was reminded of that at least once too often. They didn't recognize his value imho.

Bill was the most talented individual in that company at that time.

He has expertise in both the technical and marketing side of the industry, which is rare. He still continues to read and research both of those subjects beyond what most anyone else does, while also reading a wide variety of other subjects for personal enrichment.

Add to that that he is no bookworm couch potato, but instead hikes, runs, and races with the energy of a man half his age.

Jon Don hit a bases loaded home run when they hired him.

Bill is a humble man, and doesn't choose to compete with the radiance of another.

Man, does a leprechaun post always have to lead to Yeadon? Give the guy a break!

He is way too likable. I told him that the first time I met him.

Thank you for the nice comments (even Marty). Bill Bane Sr was an amazing man. He started from absolutely nothing and built a very successful company. He was truly a self-made man and an amazing speaker. I learned so much from him. The last time I saw him he told me he had watched some of my youtube videos and told me I had really become quite the huckster. I said I had learned speaking skills from him and of course an awesome editor helped on the videos. Those of you that had the opportunity to meet him are fortunate. I feel the same way about Nick Paolella and Lee Pemberton. As the saying goes we stand on the shoulders of giants (and at my height, I need every little bit of help.)
