I am curious if anyone here charges for the painters tape, double-sided tape, or preservation tape on jobs? A couple of our competitors have been adding it to their estimates and getting paid. thoughts/

Have not. Lockhart called me last month about extension cords he purchased $1,600.00 worth and wanted to know if he could charge them off.
We have never charged for a 12/3 extension cord.

If you are setting up containment/airlock chamber at 60 cents per foot AND get to charge for poles PER DAY...

It's a massively profitable line item with no need to charge for tape or anything else in my opinion

Extension cords would depend on the situation

Are you running a generator and needing them to get power throughout the building? Definately would charge for them

All the fans daisy chain so you don't need them for that

What are you using that many for?

    What a hater.

Old church building with weak breakers, so bad to run power from all parts of the multiple buildings to power very limited amounts of equipment.

Couldn't/didn't want the liability to run a generator as they continued to operate the church daycare and the kids would have had to walk across the street by the generator and the power lines multiple times a day along with the exhaust liability.

Just didn't want to do that with all of he children (120 plus) in the building and didn't want the "carbon monoxide alarms are going off " call.
