My first job with Super Grout Additive..

4 tub enclosures and a kitchen counter.
2 colors, one huge gap and all sorts of fun...

$450k home near Tahoe that looks like it was built by a 11th grade wood shop class.

Very easy to clean up
Fills/hides hairlines exceptionally

What and how did you do it?

Did you just replace what was missing or did you chip or remove more than what was already missing?

How did you get the color so close?

I was told by someone that any grout line less than a quarter inch wide, don't use sanded grout. Use epoxy. Sanded grout is too weak at that thickness.

Random thoughts..

The directions call for six ounces of dry grout to 3 ounces of mixed epoxy, that's super thick and a pita to load into the syringe. 4 ounces of grout was much easier to work with on my second color.

Finger application works well too if just doing small random patches

Bring a garbagae bag, you'll be tossing lots of rags.

Cotton worked about as well as microfiber

Keep plastic color charts of the popular brands of grout in your area

Charge atleast $60 for materials if you'll be supplying the grout and SGA

Seal the grout before repairing

I'll be doing demos at future RMH cleanings...

On mine I had to use a razor blade to cut out all the moldy caulk, the refill with a mold resistant caulk.
