Water and condensation will find their way in there somehow. My Transit is on its way too, and line x is step one. Walls and floor.

Nope just roll it up and sell it on Craigslist. Two of our Transits came with it the last one we dealer traded for and it was bare floor. we put down plywood and carpeted. No TM's in our Transits yet.

Our Distributor was installing an Everest in one a couple of weeks ago but I forgot about it and it was gone before I went to look.

If that rubber flooring has a matting under it, pull it. You get one leak and it will never dry and rust out the floor. Marine grade plywood and Line-x is usually the safest route. I rubber coated the floor of my E350 and put rubber horse trailer mats on it. Cut down the noise and gave a litte R-value on the floor. Had a rinse jug freeze in the bottom 2 inches once on just metal floor.

Water WILL get under that rubber. Pull that bitch out and spray the floor. If you don't care about the corrosive properties of our cleaning chems, leave it like it is. Also, That rubber matt won't last a day when some monkey drags a 175 sideways across it. You know I also put down treated plywood to protect from flexing and denting the floor.

Looks real nice Mike! I would linex it just so water can't get underneath. I also saw a video where if you drill holes to mount your TM you should drill the holes and reline x them also or they will corrode.

This is why you need to coat the floor. I just left my rinse bottle hose on and it overflowed. I saw a waterfall coming out the back of my van.

The problem is the mat has insulation on the underside and it, like mentioned above, will take forever to dry.

It is just fine if you are just using it as a dry cargo van but not for day to day spraysucking activity.

I got mine sprayed out with the chem resistant paint they put in shipping containers then put ply over it

The paint shop guy reckons its better than any spray on liner but he would
