Waterstick, Water softener

I have a water stick water softener. Is it any good really? Or are we wasting our time hooking it up? We have city water here and its not real bad but it does produce alot of calcium build up. Any one used a water stick? http://www.watersticks.com/index1.htm

i swear i saw something like that at walmart in the RV section.. think it was 40 bucks..

walmart or camping world does not sell them. I have one but just wandering if i even need to use softened water. or itf it really even works.. how can you tell it works?

The only thing wrong is the capacity. On moderately hard water, you will need to regenerate just about daily.

Fine for camping/RV, but hardly something that's gonna be cost effective, unless you just plain like doing softener regeneration on your off hours.
