I and 9 buddies went on a scouting run for an upcoming PNMTA clean up party.
Found a few vehicles, sofas and various garbage.

Then we decided to head to Virginia City for a beer..

    and then things got exciting.

First I had to figure out why my brakes stopped working, blown bleeder valve on a caliper, that luckily, the local Napa had in stock, then we had to get up and over a snow covered mountain, which involved bikes getting dumped, my rig tipping over, tow ropes to pull me off a high center and leading the way when all the others wanted to turn back...

But we made it and will remember this Easter adventure for a long long time..

    Video forthcoming...

    sounds like you had fun.

removed blower belts- discovered NAPA was closed for Easter. -Repair ill have to wait.
Drain what I thought was the blower oil, then discovered there are no easy access drain hoses for the blower and was actually draining the water pump oil- good thing I caught that error. but added more aggravation to my day. :hopeless:
tried to extract blower oil through fill hole with suction type oil extractor- upon refilling oil discovered I didn't remove all the old oil.
changing the belts, blower oil and see the cat pump site glass are not easy on this Blueline TM--
Had enough aggravation for the day and headed to the bar for a burger and beer. :very_drunk:
tapped out at 730pm from jet lag.

One of my favorite scenes in "Jaws" (which is a movie about people, not a shark, if you weren't sure...) was when Hooper and Quint are comparing all their scars from various wild adventures, and Brody starts to show what was probably an appendectomy scar...then realizing he's not anywhere in their league...just pulls his shirt back down.

After that story Mike, who the heck can post much of anything?

Why did you post the video sideways and why is there a guy laying across your roof?

    Hula looks disappointed.

Her thoughts are probably something on the order of this:

"I thought they were supposed to be the intelligent species that the rest of us rely upon to provide for our needs. This behavior makes me wonder...."

She's an awesome dog...I enjoyed getting to know her during my visit.

I can see why you take her with you on your adventures
