We don't use anything to lube our blowers (59s and ti850)under normal conditions but we are weird and we dump our waste tank always and run blower dry for a few minutes after dumping waste tank. Please refer to you manufactures spec as to whether to lube or not to lube your blower. We used to use wd40 when we knew the truck would sit for a few days with out use.

Smaller units require lubing the blower lobes as tolerances are much smaller and potential for a light rusting of the lobes is common and completely avoidable with a 3 second shot of lubes into lube port.

As for gear case we use aeon Pd xd for Gardner Denver and sutorbilt pumps and use a special compressor oil from amsoil for tuthill blowers.

The spray for your blower is not really lube. You want to spray wd40 at the end of the day or if you have had your tank overflow and water is coming out the exhaust. All you are trying to do is displace any moisture that may have occured. After I spray wd40, I run the machine about 5 minutes to get rid it.
