Took it apart to repaint, new bumper, etc. Apparently, I overtightened this fitting into the pump and caused a small crack. You can see a little bead of solution coming from it in picture. Only leaks a drip or three a minute, but I hate drips.

I was thinking marine epoxy/glue on the outside.

Try Shoe Goo, its in the same isle. Its thicker and is water proof and very strong.
I used it to hold the Plexiglas backboard on the plastic frame on a basketball goal.
Its held on in the hot summer, cold winter, rain, snow a strong Kansas wind.

I would try using some thread sealant. Put it on the fitting and let it set up real well.
