We ran some test at the Experience this week and he is what we found

At 400 PSI, stock jetting, no vacuum load attached, not spinning for SIXTY SECONDS

Both Rotovac tool put out about 1.4 gallons each.

The HOSS 700 about a quart less than that.

The RX20 was at a gallon per minute almost exactly

and the new CX15 just a few ounces less.

the Trex was back in it's cave sucking it's thumb. Sorry.

to make it clear, the marks on the bucket for the 360s and the HOSS are indicating one gallon PLUS to the marked line for those tools. I hope that makes sense.

wow..
half a gallon?

I started out by using the smallest disc.

about half a year ago I punched a much larger hole in it.

Now I think I'll just take it out.

when using the needle valve how often do you run it wide open? i assume you are adjusting as soil level dictates but wheres a starting point without soaking the carpet

like the middle disc would be about equal to valve 1/2 open?
thanks

I have mine set to where I can control it with my finger......so when I get to a real heavily soiled area I can spin it wide open...or when I am at a lightly soiled area I can shut it down some......so my starting point is going to be determined by what type of soil I am looking at.........

I have no clue what the needle valve and the disk are equal to...........after you use it for awhile you just get use to where to put it for what you need...I don't even look at the thing anymore...I just turn it with my finger as needed and go..............

That's an interesting comparison. What I have noticed since using the Rotovac 360i is there is definitely a much higher chance of wicking from a subsurface spot like urine or what have you that you did not know about and treat accordingly.

I love the tool for heavily soiled carpets but you have to be sure to thoroughly dry pass when using these.

Can we see a picture of your needle vale set up Jim. I have the large disk now. I was thinking of making it bigger but I might go with a needle vale.
