I don't know how well they work, and am not interested, because of the commercials David Oreck does.

Yes, I am prejudiced.

I have had customers with them, and thought they did a poor job.

But that's opinion, and my opinion is the only one you need.

My mother-in-law had one

She kept it in tip top shape
(like everything else she had til the cancer got her)

One day I checked it out.
It seemed to be a decent vac to me
Probably over priced, but seemed like a decent light wt vac

not that good of a vac compared to others i've used. i hade one and the Powr Flite PF-61 kicked its a$$ by a mile!!!

We have a dist. here selling the Orecks. He advertises side by with the Dyson and will beat it. I may have to see this

honestly, that doesn't surprise me a bit.

Dyson ain't nuttin'
It's a WAY over priced, mediocre performance plastic vac

I keep a Oreck in the closet for picking up cracker goldfishes its good for topical cleaning. I learned how big a POS it was after I followed it with my 887 Sanitaire.

I have a Pro team Vac,Too, But I need to make sure the carpets get vacuumed, hence the lightly oreck, and It works just fine IMO!!!
