A good clean, proper application of clear seal, and show the customer how to maintain their floor should be good enough right?

Unless the grout is stained in areas and won't match other areas of grout, or old damaged grout needs to be repaired and the new grout won't match old grout , color sealing in these cases would be an easy fix.

Depends. Were you able to clean the grout to a "like new" condition? Was the original grout color ideal, or would the floor benefit from a grout color that better matches/compliments the tile? Any chance the customer will actually maintain the floor properly? (Remember, a clear seal only buys a little time before a stain sets, it is not as stain resistant as the best colorseal).

ColorSeal is a high margin add-on that provides a grout line that is easier to keep clean. Whether the customer is cleaning it or you are returning to clean it. So if it is a customer that is not likley to call you in very often, you get more money up front and the floor stays better looking between visits. If they do bring you in often, you bring it back to looking like new faster and with less chemicals.

Win-win. Not that I am biased or anything.
