All the carpet cleaning boards are a friggin' constant. Constant soap opera. The drama just never seems to end, he said she said. If half the effort was put into pushing business instead of petty bickering, this would be a millionaires club instead of a beat down contest.

I hope your not refering to me...I've ignored 5 different pms that were threatening and harrassing from the jake arsh....but when someone starts telling blatent lies about me under a fake name and then cant appologize to me after he is caught in his lies thats when I started getting pissed off...I stay out of all bb drama...Would you want someone telling lies about you on a public forum? How would that make you feel? I rarely post because I dont want any drama but I wont sit back and let some guy post over and over tagain with these lies about me on a public forum....

There is a lot of truth to what you've said Willy but drama is part of life. The truth sometimes isn't pleasant or positive. That information shared here can sometimes be valuable than the nice-nice threads. The nicest of which are usually about us as people - not even related to carpet cleaning like Lisa's wedding pictures with that big galoot standing beside her.

I recently made a commitment to myself to be less negative in some of my posts.

Naw- it's not any single person, but it just seems that every day, someone is ripping someone else a new one and it's getting really tired. the constant divisiveness is getting to be both annoying and saddening at the same time. It gets to the point where this place and others resembles a pro wrestling board with everyone cutting a promo.

it's human nature but don’t kid yourself it happens in all types of jobs, incomes and education levels. I picked up rugs at a custy’s house a few years back to clean & wrap for shipping. The guy got a new job out of state couldn’t stand working with all the work place drama, back stabbing, social clicks, favoritism he was a doctor that specialized in clinical research at OHSU ..go figure!

Drama is everywhere...people communicate. When people say, "don't talk about me behind my back"...wtf? Does that mean I can't speak your name without you present...it's crazy. The idea is...don't say something about someone that you wouldn't be willing to say to their face...but people communicate...it's the way we are. The boards do get out of hand at times when (true) nut jobs start going for blood...when personal threats are made and people start looking for ways outside the board to hurt/harm you...WAY CRAZY!!! I've had a couple situations that made me want to leave the board all together because of whack jobs like that....but I've taken a step back and realize that the good people out weight the bad a lot. But mostly, it's funny.

Chris Rock said in his stand-up routine....about how women are so dramatic at work:

thanks for welcoming me back jim...if scott segretti calls you 4 service i wouldn't service him...he told us(when I worked at the cleaning cupboard, I dont work there just hang out and network with cleaners) that if we fixed his truckmount and it broke again that he was going to sue us. I just think that you should know that and have him sign waivers if you decide to work on his stuff....sorry if i came of like a jerk that guy has been harrasing me for months privately and i couldnt stand for him to blantenly lie about me on a public forum.
