My complaint is that yelp moves the reviews from being legit or bogus and visa versa over time.
Why bogus one day and then legit another day? Or why legit one day and bogus another day..

It's all based on how the user participates ..if they log out and don't come back or use the site their reviews will disappear

I just want to know why when I paid them $300 a month for impessions, then ppc, that we received a third of the work. Quit paying and get a lot more calls now from Yelp

Yeah I experienced the same thing. The more I spent the less traffic to yelp I got.

My theory is that you have to pay them a lot, know of some cleaners that are top ranking with Yelps paid advertising. Offer them as much as it takes to get in the top 3, they won’t help me, cause I’m in dept to them and they won’t settle for less, so I can give them more money. I’ll stick to the free advertising

Yelp's organic listing is highly based on reviews, unlike Google, which takes SEO to get you to the top of the organic rankings. Have never paid a dime to Yelp, yet we are number one in our city, as well as number 1 in reviews by a wide margin. Get reviews and get boosted to the top of the rankings.
