Had a young lady, a new customer, call yesterday to schedule a whole home cleaning for the home she and her new husband are closing on in a few weeks. "Hi, my name is Laura. You used to clean for my great-grandmother, and you also clean for my mother and grandmother, and they'd hear nothing of me calling anyone but you..."
When she told who her mother and grandmother were, I knew that they were mother and daughter. What I had not known was that her great-grandmother, a woman I had cleaned for for about eight years before she passed away recently, was the senior matriarch of the family.
I clean for quite a few two generation, mother/daughter families, and a good number of three generation grandmother/mother/daughter families. But this is the only great-grandmother/grandmother/mother/daughter family among my customers that I am aware of. At any rate, I came away from that call feeling pretty good.
